They were all soft and seemingly worn in, even though they have never been used. I have been at many stores that sold the Chrome line of bags and fondled them a great deal. When the bag got here, I was astounded by how STIFF it was. I looked over the overall dimensions of the Mini Metro and with what I needed, my fiancé bought it for me from the sale stock as a birthday gift. I love that bag and still see to it as my frequent bag to use when venturing into the city. My experience with Chrome Industries products is limited to the Kadet, which was their Had to pull the tarpaulin section out and used the interior sub-section as a large pocket. tarpaulin interior shell, with the combination of both materials and the design of the bag, it is virtually waterproof. The bag is made of 1000 denier Cordura and is lined with an 18oz. The real world dimensions of the Mini Metro are top of bag 18 inches internally, bottom of bag 14 inches internally, depth of 5 inches with a stretch limit of double that and the height of 10 inches with the stretch limit of almost 14 inches. I run a decently light load-out and when I do travel distances, I try not to take too much since it is merely for a day or two. I didn’t need anything THAT big just yet. They recommended the Citizen being it is the most functional of sizes and most people can use it as a 24 hour+ bag. Why did I choose the smallest of the three? Well, I did talk to the folks at Chrome through Twitter. The Metropolis being the largest, the Citizen being the medium and the standard that most people buy and the Mini Metro, their smallest. ![]() The Chrome Industries Mini Metro is the small version in their line of messenger bags.
